Bookly is an ultimate online appointment scheduling and service booking solution for almost any business which sells services.
To do an automatic install of Bookly, log in to your WordPress admin panel, navigate to the Plugins menu and click Add New.
In the search field type “Bookly” and click Search Plugins. Once you have found our plugin, you can install it simply by clicking Install Now. WordPress will automatically complete the installation.
The manual installation method involves downloading our plugin and uploading it to your web server via your favorite FTP application.
– Download the plugin file to your computer and unzip it.
– Using an FTP program, or your hosting control panel, upload the unzipped plugin folder to your WordPress installations wp-content/plugins/ directory.
– Activate the plugin in the WordPress Admin main menu > Plugins.
PayPal, Stripe, Authorize.net (incl. Akamai), Mollie (incl. iDEAL), Payson, PayU Latam, 2checkout, WooCommerce.
Several types of triggered and scheduled notifications can be done via Bookly, with the purpose of keeping clients and staff in the loop of appointment status updates and reminding them of upcoming events.
In your Bookly admin area (which is now an integral part of your WordPress dashboard), set up the service(s) that you offer and staff member(s) that work directly with customers.
Then set up email notifications that will confirm to customers that you’ve received their booking (not necessary, but we do recommend it).
Once that is done, go to the page on your website where you want to place the booking form, open the edit window, and click on the ‘Add booking form’ button.
Yes, Bookly supports deposit payments. To be able to use deposits you’ll need the Deposit add-on.
Bookly is compatible with the vast majority of WordPress themes and, as long as the theme is developed according to the WordPress Codex, it is most likely compatible with yours.
While it isn’t technically possible for us to test all themes out there, incompatibility issues have been rather rare in our experience.
In order to make sure that your theme works with Bookly, your best bet is to try installing the free Bookly Lite plugin (the stripped down version of Bookly). If the Lite plugin works with the theme, then the main Bookly version will as well.
